How it Works
The Ultraformer 3 device by Classys is the most effective skin tightening device available on the market, using high intensity focused ultrasound to deliver unbeatable results for your face and body without going under the knife. What makes the Ultraformer 3 special is that it uses MMFU (micro macro focused ultrasound) technology at temperatures of 65-75°C.
This method of using HiFu causes micro-coagulation and subcutaneous fat micro-reduction at one of 7 depths beneath the skin dependant on area being treated. The vast majority of depths which can be chosen therefore means the Ultraformer 3 Skin Tightening device is effective at treating even the most delicate areas of the skin, such as around the eyes.
Results from treatment are immediate, but noticeable, continuous improvements for the following 3 to 6 months, what our patients love the most. Patients can experience up to 6mm of lift to the eyebrow area, making it one of the most effective treatments available on the market.

Ultraformer is suitable for clients with fine lines, wrinkles and loose skin on the face. It’s also suitable for those who want to reduce sagging around the jawline and neck area, and those who would like a slimmer shape.
The lower face and neck are the most common areas that we treat here at Sky Beauty Clinic, but Ultraformer gives great results across the whole body.
During an Ultraformer treatment, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound delivers ultrasound waves into varying layers of the skin, without damaging the skin’s surface. The energy heats the targeted areas to temperatures of 65-75°C – the best range to encourage collagen production and facilitate tissue contraction, which restores a more youthful structure and provides more toned and tighter skin.
Ultraformer can be used to treat areas including the eyebrows, eyelids, cheeks, neck and chest, as well as the hips, thighs, lower legs, arms and abdomen.
Before you have your treatment, we’ll firstly invite you in for a consultation to discuss the areas you would like to treat, and your suitability for treatment, taking your medical history into account. We’ll then clean and sterilise and mark out the treatment area. We then use a series of Ultraformer device attachments, dependent on the skin depth being treated. Ultrasound will be delivered to the skin, causing the muscles to contract. Collagen production is also initiated, resulting in the lifting and tightening of the skin.
The whole treatment takes between 30 minutes – 1 hour, and is especially great for those with very busy schedules who need a fast treatment. No downtime is required either, and you can resume your normal activities straight away.
Though discomfort levels vary from client to client, the majority of ours can easily tolerate Ultraformer without the need for anaesthesia. As the ultrasound energy is being delivered, you may feel small amounts of energy being deposited at varying depths, but this sensation only lasts for a few moments during the treatment.
Results are noticeable immediately, and as the collagen regeneration process continues, your skin will continue to improve for up to 6 months post-treatment. For the best results, we recommend 2 treatments 3 – 6 months apart to speed up the healing process.
