A personalised application.
INDIBA delivers electromagnetic current through electrodes at a radiofrequency of 448 kHz. Depending on treatment parameters and tissue temperature, the technology is used across aesthetic, wellness and rehabilitation settings. At Sky Beauty, the conversation starts with your concern—not with a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Maybe it is not about “getting a treatment.”
Maybe something just does not feel like you.
You may have noticed a change in your face, body, comfort or recovery and simply want to understand what your options are. You do not need to arrive knowing whether INDIBA is right for you. Start with what you are noticing — we can begin there.
“My skin does not feel as firm or refreshed as it used to.”
You may be noticing changes in facial firmness, texture or the way your skin looks when tired. Rather than promising to “reverse ageing”, we first understand what has changed and what you would realistically like to improve.
Explore facial rejuvenation ↓“I am taking care of myself, but there are areas I still feel conscious of.”
Body contour, skin firmness and the appearance of cellulite can affect how comfortable you feel in your own skin. The conversation is not about judging your body — it is about understanding the area that matters to you.
Explore body-focused care ↓“I want support for a concern that feels personal, and I want to be heard first.”
Wellness concerns can be sensitive and highly individual. We start with a private conversation about what you are experiencing, relevant health history and whether the service sits appropriately within your needs.
Discuss your concern ↓“My body feels tight, tired or slower to recover than I would like.”
If physical tension or recovery is affecting how you feel day to day, the first question is not “which machine setting?” It is what you are experiencing, what may be appropriate, and whether INDIBA belongs in that conversation.
Explore recovery-focused care ↓Tell us what is bothering you. We will help you understand whether INDIBA is relevant to your goals and suitability.

Considered care.
INDIBA’s capacitive-resistive system creates a radiofrequency current between an active electrode and a return electrode. Published research has documented thermal responses and changes in local blood flow with 448 kHz applications. Treatment settings and technique vary with the intended application.
CAP / capacitive: one electrode configuration used to deliver the 448 kHz current.
RES / resistive: an alternative electrode configuration that changes how current density is distributed through tissue.
Thermal & sub-thermal: INDIBA describes applications ranging from minimal heating to controlled tissue warming, depending on the treatment goal.

Recovery
INDIBA 448 kHz technology is used in rehabilitation settings for muscle, joint and recovery-focused care, with treatment determined by the presenting concern and practitioner assessment.
What happens beneath
the surface?
INDIBA delivers electromagnetic current through electrodes at a specific radiofrequency of 448 kHz. Depending on how it is applied, treatment can produce thermal or subthermal effects. CAP and RES electrodes allow the practitioner to work with different tissue responses and treatment goals.

Thermal response
Human research using an INDIBA device has measured a significant rise in skin temperature following 448 kHz application.
What the research
actually shows.
Research helps explain the physiological response to 448 kHz radiofrequency. It does not guarantee an aesthetic or therapeutic outcome for every person. At Sky Beauty, published evidence is used as context for a consultation-led, individual approach.
448 kHz produced a measurable and sustained thermal response.
In a randomised crossover laboratory study, 15 healthy volunteers received both capacitive (CAP) and resistive (RES) 448 kHz radiofrequency applications to the lower thigh using the Indiba Activ 902.
“Both capacitive and resistive modes of therapy significantly increased the skin temperature and sustained it over the 45-min follow-up.”
The researchers also found that CAP and RES produced different thermal-response patterns, with heat retention during follow-up significantly higher in the resistive mode. Their conclusion was that 448 kHz radiofrequency can significantly increase and sustain skin temperature.
This study directly connects to INDIBA technology because the protocol used an Indiba Activ 902 at 448 kHz and investigated both CAP and RES modes. It supports the technology’s measurable thermal response in human skin. It does not, by itself, prove wrinkle reduction, collagen regeneration, fat loss, cellulite reduction or a guaranteed recovery outcome.

Your assessment decides the relevance.
The 2015 study helps us understand one measurable response to INDIBA 448 kHz technology: skin temperature increased after both CAP and RES application and remained elevated during the study’s 45-minute follow-up.
It does not mean every person will have the same experience, and it does not by itself prove every aesthetic or recovery claim. That is why Sky Beauty begins with your concern, suitability and treatment goals rather than promising a standard result.

Start with the concern.
Not the treatment claim.
You may be looking for facial rejuvenation, firmer-looking body skin, a wellness-focused treatment or support around physical recovery. We begin by understanding why you are considering INDIBA and whether the available service is appropriate for you.
Discuss the area, concern and your expectations.
Consider individual suitability and relevant health history before treatment.
Explain the proposed application, realistic expectations and aftercare before you decide.
A considered experience.
From consultation to care.
Exact treatment time and protocol depend on the area and purpose of your appointment. Your practitioner should explain what is being treated and what to expect before beginning.
